Earlier this year the experimental rap group, Clipping, released their album Midcity, which incorporates a lot of glitchy and abrasive noises and a hell of a lot of static. Now the groups premiered their music video for one of the catchier tracks from the album, bout.that, which sees lead MC Daveed Diggs deliver a hypnotic flow over an instrumental with some of the harsh distortion that is present throughout the whole album. The video sees Diggs delivering his verses amid some gritty shots of Los Angeles. If you like what you hear you can grab the album for free via Clipping’s bandcamp.
