Indie pop/rock sensation Trevor Powers, also known as Youth Lagoon, has recently announced the release of his new album set to come out March 18th this year. ‘Wondrous Bughouse’ will feature the first single, Dropla- a fantastically playful and colourful song with a noticeably fuller sound than YL’s debut LP ‘The Year of Hibernation’. With lyrics touching on theme of death, Powers noted in an interview how he had suffered from acute anxiety of thinking he was “going to die”. Dropla is a masterfully executed song, centred around an irresistibly catchy,bouncy, synth theme leaving one in considerable eagerness for the upcoming album.
