PRODUCER BLOOD DIAMONDS RELEASES VISUALS FOR HIS COLLABORATIVE TRACK WITH RAPPER DOMINIC LORD

The Canadian colorful dance music artist known as Blood Diamonds recently strayed from his dreamy compositions driven by startlingly intimate vocal edits for a collaboration with the rapper Dominic Lord called Barcode. It is one of his first releases on Skrillex’s label OSWLA, so while the sensuality that is normally present in his songs is still palpable, Blood Diamonds incorporated a bit more grittiness and distortion that Skrillex is known for, showing that the label owner has influenced him a fair bit. The track has been floating around for a while and while Dominic Lord’s lyrics do leave something to be desired, Blood Diamonds’ intricate and engaging production does make it difficult for an artist to sound terrible over. The video plays on the first line of the song, Dominic claiming to be a ‘director’ and sees an elaborate amount of cameramen and scene changes and features a Hitchcock-esque cameo from Blood Diamonds.
