While the A$AP Mob may call themselves lords and Flatbush Zombies may have claim to be the most famous rap outfit from Flatbush by making the part of Brooklyn that their from implicit in their name, The Underachievers have taken both terms back in the name of their new free mixtape, Lords of Flatbush. The subtle references to their Beast Coast affiliates serves to undermine them a bit, as Issa Dash and AK sound great over this short mixtape, entirely produced by famed beat maker Lex Luger. The Underachievers incorporate many of their psycadelic themes from previous work, such as the gold soul theory and third eye vision, but also frequently acknowledge their rise to fame and make it clear that there is nowhere for them to go but up.
