After releasing two EPs, the producer and singer kwes. has now reported his first studio album, called ilp. The first single to drop from the project is 36, apparently an ode from kwes. to the enduring love of his grandparents. The track is a lush and cacophonous soundscape, with some chirping strings, understated synths and some tender piano playing and the soulful crooning from kwes., touchingly reiterating at the end of the track that he loves both his grandparents. ilp will be out via Warp Records on 14th October.
