The electronic composer and angelic singer Pat Grossi, using his stage name of Active Child, has released an instrumental track, titled She Cut Me, from his upcoming Rapor EP. Active Child has been relatively inactive in the new music department since the release of his 2011 album You Are All I See, and it’s great news to hear that the project is far from defunct. It is a little disappointing to not hear Grossi’s celestial vocals on the track (apart from ohs and ahs which are used as more of an instrument) but the composition is still extremely emotive, with some tribal percussion and superbly fresh sounding sting plucks littering the track. There is no release date on Rapor yet, but its sounding extremely promising.
