British rock royalty Arctic Monkeys continue to build the anticipation for their new record AM (expected 9th September), releasing new song ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’ Accompanied by a dazed, almost eerie video where frontman Alex Turner stumbles home in a state of hallucinative drunkenness, the song sees the Sheffield boys proceed in exploring new areas of garage and psychedelic rock (and apparently some hip-hop influences to look forward to according to an interview).
‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’ is the follow up to hit’ Do I Wanna Know’ (as well as a rocking Glastonbury set). Check out the videos here, respectively.
