Otis Jackson Jr. aka Madlib aka Quasimoto is one of the most prolific hip-hop musicians of all time. While Madlib is mostly known for his illustrious production work, he created the alter ego Quasimoto as an outlet for his actual vocal approach to hip-hop. Earlier this year he released a mixed collection of tracks called Yessir Whatever, and now there is a video for the track Catchin’ the Vibe, which sees him discuss his musical career and attacking the stylish way some hip-hop artists have quickly and quite undeservedly risen to fame. The video features some sort of trash monster who also deals vinyl. Watch the video below.
