A few days ago we posted about three new unheard cuts from the deluxe edition of JJ DOOM’s album Key to the Kuffs, and today Lex Records have streamed the penultimate track to be heard from this edition, the Beck remix of the single Banished. The original production from Jneiro Jarrell enhanced DOOM’s rapid flow, possibly the fastest the rapper has ever delivered his verses, however Beck seems to slow down DOOM’s delivery without even altering the vocals. While DOOM’s verses are still spit swiftly, the instrumental now lends the track a relaxed feeling, with various guitar string samples, while maintain the original’s grimy feeling. Stream the track below and eagerly wait for the last track to be dropped from this version of the album, the version of the lead single Guv’nor by the alternative jazz outfit BADBADNOTGOOD.
