On 19th August Lex Records will drop the extended edition of JJ DOOM’s 2012 album Key to the Kuffs, which will feature some completely new tracks along with remixes from Thom Yorke, Beck, Clams Casino and more. Before the album is released, Lex has been kind enough to share some of the tracks, and you can now stream three new tracks from the deluxe edition. The first, Pause Tape, is the only one to feature DOOM spitting in all his glory, and features Jneiro Jarrel (who produced the whole album) picking up the mic for the last half of the track. The second track, The Signs, sees Jneiro pull together a grimy and threatening beat for the very unknown rapper, Gone the Hero, to spit over. The last track to be shared is Viberian Son, which was initially featured as just an instrumental on the original version of the album but now has Del The Funky Homosapien providing his unique vocals over it. Stream all three tracks below and head over to Lex Record’s Soundcloud to hear even more from the album.
