The sensual Oliver Tank has paid tribute to Simon & Garfunkel’s seminal song The Sound of Silence with the help of frequent collaborator Fawn Myers. Tank’s version, which is available for free from his Soundcloud page, samples the guitar chords from the original but is left with Tank’s signature atmospheric and tender touch. While Fawn predominately sings on the track, Oliver does lend his vocals for the intro and outro and his production has its usual crisp nature to the leading synths and swirling and consuming bass line. Tank is no stranger to song covers, having very popularly covered Snoop Dogg and Pharrall’s hit Beautiful which has since become a staple of Tank’s live shows. Grab your copy below.
