The Edinburgh based hip-hop outfit Young Fathers show no signs of slowing down their output this year despite having released their excellent TAPE TWO album in June. Their new track, Effigy, features a blaring horn-like sound, brittle drums and an explosive baseline which raises the group’s always intense vocals. The song is the final track on the Friends of Friends label’s Show Me the Future Volume 2 mixtape out 12th August which features Kyson, The Cyclist and more. Stream the track below.
