Earlier this year the New York based electronic outfit Blondes released their second album Swisher. The album has been met with widely positive reviews, mostly seeing them depart slightly from the more accessible nature of their first self-titled album and instead adopt a more psychedelic approach to their heavily house influenced songs. The video they have released for Elise, which I can imagine being projected behind Blondes as visuals when they play their live shows, featuring some trippy and distorted visuals, while the track itself implements some subtley pulsating bass, crackling percussion and a chirpy and infectious synth riff. Swisher is available now over at Rvng Intl.’s Bandcamp page.
