Odd Future wunderkind Earl Sweatshirt has dropped the fourth track teasing towards his highly anticipated debut studio album Doris, set to drop on August 20th. The track adds authenticity to Earl’s claim that the only way to describe him is a synonym of menace, as the combined effect of the beat and Earl’s classic monotone flow is extremely threatening. The effect is only heightened by the absolutely eerie nature of the video, seeing masked people surrounding Earl, smiling monsters advancing on him and Earl losing his eyes. Frequent OF collaborators Casey Veggies and Vince Staples are also nicely featured on the song, with Casey providing his rhymes on the hook and Vince closing the song with the final verse. If you’re loving the Hiro Murai directed video as much as I am, check out the video for Chum which was also directed by Murai.
