The collaborative project Run the Jewels, formed by rapper Killer Mike and rapper/producer El-P, have been making waves all year long with the hype of their relcently released free self-titled album. The album has been met with almost universal critical acclaim and now the pair have released a video for one of the singles, 36” Chain. The ultra-violent yet comical video sees Mike and El attempt to rescue El-P’s puppet sidekick, Mr. Killums, who you can also see in El-P’s music video for The Full Retard off of his 2012 album, Cancer 4 Cure. While the lyrics are all very boastful and arrogant, the video proves the pair don’t take themselves too seriously and it also features numerous guest appearances, probably the most notable being party rocker Andrew W.K.
