The latest single from the Los Angeles based two-person punk outfit No Age sees the group stray from their usual noisy and anthemic song structure and replace it with a more melancholic and relaxed vibe. An Impression features sharp sounding guitar strums over the expected lo-fi chords playing in the background with chirpy percussion intertwining. Dean Allen Spunt’s vocals hover over the track with a slightlt whiny twinge to them and the vocals gain momentum at the end of the track when a swirling string sections uplifts them. The track will be featured on the duo’s fourth studio album An Object which will be released August 20th via Sub Pop Records.
