Experimental electronic music producer Daniel Lopatin is notorious for putting out some of the oddest and unique soundscapes under his Oneohtrix Point Never moniker and the release of this excerpt from his upcoming album and the accompanying visuals suggest he is not going to shed this reputation any time soon. The video for Still Life features various three-dimensional objects interacting with liquids and also features flashes of various brands and labels all to the sonic backdrop of pulsing synths and distorted vocal samples. Still Life will be featured on his upcoming album R Plus Seven which will be released via Warp Records on 1st October and will be the follow-up to 2011’s highly praised Replica.
