The Toronto based jazz outfit BADBADNOTGOOD first garnered attention with their jazz renditions of popular hip-hop songs, but with the release of their second album BBNG2, proved themselves equally adept at writing original tracks. The release of Hedron only further emphasizes their capability as songwriters, with the fluidly morose bass riff introducing the song and the slightly abrasive high-hats and drum breaks providing an intensity that is present on a lot of their other material.
