The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die is an eight-piece indie rock band who recently released the LP Whenever, If Ever. They’ve dropped some visuals for one of the best songs from the LP, Picture of a Tree That Doesn’t Look Okay, which provides some trippy visuals and peaceful woodland imagery. The song itself is a perfect example of how this eight-piece band can bring together a large amount of instrumentation and different vocalists to create a highly emotive and intense emo track. The track commences with the somewhat soothing and somber intro but suddenly has an almost euphoric crescendo at the 1 minute 45 second mark, with some very passionately delivered lyrics.
