Joey Bada$$ has dropped the second single from his upcoming mixtape Summer Knights, the first being Word is Bond. Despite 95 Til Infinity, produced by Lee Bannon, featuring a more reserved beat, with a moody woman’s vocal sample softly crooning in the background, Joey deploys one of his most harsh flows ever, sounding almost on the verge of screaming into the mic. This contrast makes Joeys seem even more intense while delivering his usual multi-rhyme schemed lines and intricate wordplay. Both tracks to drop have been superb and I’m looking forward to July 1st which is when Summer Knights is scheduled to release. Stream and download the track below.
