The glitch hop/acid jazz pioneer of Zach Saginaw who creates music under his middle name, ‘Shigeto’ has hit back from instrumentally superb 2012 album ‘lineage’ with his new single  ‘Detroit part 1’. The track is the first single to be released following the announcement of his new album No Better Time Than Now, out August 20 on Ghostly and kicks off with a steady hip-hop driven beat that becomes saturated amidst thick textures of elated chirping synths and samples that has the sheer craftsmanship of Shigeto written all over it . ‘Detroit Part 1’ is ever evolving, progressing into jazz piano style section before seeing out the track with a slick outro. No Better Time Than Now will definitely be onto of my list of greatly anticipated albums after getting our first taste with Detroit Part 1. Check out the track below!
