After releasing the two lead singles from this Posthumous Release, many would wonder if Mat Cothran would have made a drastic change to his sound for this album, straying from his sweetly depressing blend of acoustic and electronic tracks for a more poppier sound. However those two tracks, Satan Made a Mansion and Burn a Church are now more contextualized after listening to the overall album, providing welcome breaks from the more melancholic tracks on there. If you wanted lyrics about death, voids and loneliness, and want to sabotage any chance of a good mood, give this wonderfully depressing (and better yet free) album a listen.
Sounds like: Elvis Depressedly
