The Canadian beat maker Ryan Hemsworth has been very active recently, releasing his free EP Still Awake a little over a week ago and steadily dropping mixes for people such as Diplo and Friends and Fader. Now there’s more news from Hemsworth in the form of a live mix for Mixmag, which if you missed the stream is available on their YouTube channel. The mix sees Ryan drop tracks like Perfectly and Empty Thoughts Over A Shallow Ocean from his latest EP, as well as his remix of Backstreet Boys’ Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely. He breaks up his own works with songs from close friend Cashmere Cat and fellow WEDIDIT label mate D33J and, as expected, Ryan uses a lot of hip-hop tracks from the likes of Gucci Mane, French Montana and A$AP Ferg, with also what sounds like his own mashup of Thuggin’ Noise by the A$AP Mob and Everytime by Britney Spears thrown in as the final track.
