Only a short year since the release of their 5th full length LP, ‘In our heads’, The dance veterans known to many as ‘Hot Chip’ will release their new single in July entitled ‘Dark & stormy’, available for streaming right now. Though the members of the group are currently engaged in a variety of solo projects — ranging from Joe Goddards new solo EP to Alexis Taylor’s jazz improv side project ‘About Group’ — Domino Records has just shared the new single from the band. The new track, will by no means be a disappointment to the many die-hard Hot chip fans out there – maintaing the bands expectedly hook heavy sound, a hard hitting drum beat and wolf howl-esque vocals that all blend together for a notably nocturnal and eery atmosphere to it, attune with the artwork. With a plethora of success with musical efforts already under their belt, Hot Chip don’t seem to be slowing down and with this new effort, nor should they be doing so. Check out the track below.
