The Illustrious 18 year old rapper Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, commonly known under his stage name ‘Joey Bada$$’ has gone ahead to release his first single in anticipation for his upcoming second mixtape entitled ‘Summer Knights’ dropping  july this year. Jo-Vaughn’s debut mix tape ‘1999’ (produced by capital steez) became renown for its unbelievably catchy and novel beats making it the underground darkhorse mixtape of the 2012 with wide critical acclaim. Now, we get our first taste of his next project with new track entiteld ‘Word is Bond’. The track sees Joey spit his lyrical flow with seeming effortlessness over a somewhat majestic and refined  piano loop. The track, blended with his signature scratching and strong beat, proves to be another of many a testament to this kids insane talent.  ‘Word is Bond’ leaves me, as i’m sure it will many, in considerable anticipation for ‘Summer Knights’.
