Chris Dexter, witch house pioneer and eerie electronic music maker, has released a new track ‘Mouchette’ under his oOoOO moniker. The track is typically dark and ambient, seeing a threatening and tantalizing baseline roll throughout the song and some murky percussion hits and sweet strings. Despite enlisting a vocal collaboration for the his latest track before this, oOoOO reatraces back to his signature sound of vocal sampling and the most notable feature of this track is the varied beautiful vocal edits scattered grittily about, which entice the listener, especially when the vocals lead back into the song after a few seconds of silence at around the 50 second mark. This single will be featured on oOoOO’s upcoming debut album, ‘Without Your Love,” which will be released via Nihjgt Feelings on the 24th of June.
