Canadian producer has graced his fans ears with the first official release from next EP in the form of the sweet track ‘Perfectly.’ Hemsworth has been steadily releasing mixes over the last few months, such as his Diplo and Friends mix or the one he did for Fader, giving his listeners glimpses into his current projects but now we have a completed track to take in. The song kicks off with a girls voice saying, “I hope it works this time,” and her desire came true, seeing Hemsworth display his typical expertise in straddling the line between dance and utterly chill music. The most prominent feature is his vocal sampling, seeing him throw in a fair few variously altered vocals, with the one at the forefront reminding fans of his moody sample on ‘Colour and Movement.’ While he may be most well known for his remixes, a fact he acknowledges by calling himself the remix Ryan Gosling, tracks like this prove that he can certainly rely on his own originality to put out worthwhile music and I’m heartily looking forward to his EP which should be released sometime next week.
