Indie rock/dream pop project of Jack Tatum, ‘Wild Nothing’ has gone ahead to release a stream of his new EP ‘Empty Estate’ via the bands soundcloud page. The new effort see’s the band opt for a far more beat and synth driven song writing style whilst also maintaining a very laid back and atmospheric nature to the music.  Jack Tatum without a doubt seems to have strayed, or  more, progressed substantially from the 2012 release of ‘Nocturne’ pushing the sounds and experiences of Wild Nothing into some relatively untracked territory for the band; taking some rather unexpected turns with the inclusion of some low key experimental and instrumental tracks, a notablely  80’s influence and some tranquilly blissful and somewhat meditative moments. Wild Nothing’s ‘Empty Estate’ is crammed full of diversity and musical flare, disrupting what many may expect to hear from a Wild Nothing release, yet Jack Tatum demonstrates his musical aptitude and creativity to pull it off in style.
