In anticipation for his forthcoming project, Half of Where You Live –  UK electronic, producer and beat maker, Gold Panda, has dropped his new track titled ‘Brazil’. Following on from his recent EP entitled ‘Trust’, Brazil delves deeper into the wonderfully lush and colorful sounds that inhabits that of Gold Panda’s beat driven and electronically atmospheric musical style.  Commenced with a steadfast, yet somewhat soft beat, the track then progresses, augmenting with the introduction with a vibrant array of synth lines and samples that seem to intertwine with effortless harmony. Characterised by the continual vocal line that repeats the word “Brazil” throughout, the track explores what seems to be a rather Mediterranean atmosphere to an unrelenting lulling and nostalgic effect. Never lingering on a dull moment, Brazil is ever evolving with the continual introduction of a generous assortment of differing samples, sounds and melodies resulting in a very novel and rhythmically tranquil tune. Gold Panda’s ‘Half of Where You Live’ will be out June 11 through Ghostly International and his own NOTOWN label.
