In anticipation for the release of Vampire Weekend’s 3rd full length LP entitled ‘Modern Vampires of the City’, the band have gone ahead and released two singles: ‘Diane Young’ and ‘Step’. The tracks definatetly seem to push into some new territory for Vampire Weekend following up from their 2010 release ‘Contra’. With a rather upbeat and blues like vibe in addition to some distorted vocals in the song ‘Diane Young’, aswel as the more toned down and sentimental track ‘Step’, who knows what Vampire Weekend may have in store with the release of the album on May 7th.
