Little is known about 23 year old New York based artist ‘fyfe’. What we do know, however, is that he has been making some seriously exciting and captivating new music. Off the back of his first single ‘solace’, a track which revelled in its simplistically charming vocals, song writing and guitar lines of which was dropped a little over a month ago, ‘Fyfe now hits back with his second effort, entitled ‘St Tropez’. This time around Fyfe presents to us a more progressive little number than the last; a song centred around a musical build of electronic beats, a distorted guitar line and a light vocal hook in addition to an assortment of playful background guitars that all flow in conjunction and build harmoniously together, creating some truly tranquil vibes. Fyfe additionally shows a diversity in musical arrangement with the inclusion of a gorgeous horns sections which sits and builds naturally along side the array of instrumentation which surounds it, adding to the dramatic effect of the song. Whilst this may only be fyfe’s second release, many all over the internet are predicting some huge upcoming success for this guy, and its not hard to see why…
