British wunderkind Archie Marshall re-affirms himself as one of the most talented artists on the scene with the blissful ‘Octopus’. The single was dually released with ‘Rock Bottom’ last year, and now comes a splendid, hazy video (directed by Paraic and Michael Morrissey), of Archie aimlessly – yet somewhat poetically – wandering around a deserted bathroom in a lamenting trance of cigarette smoke and L.E.D lights. The track itself continues King Krule’s innovative style of atmospheric, dream pop tracks marked by his distinct deep voice, Billy Brag like story telling, and diverse instrumentation
